Animal Performances

After breakfast, we returned to Bali Zoo and watched various animal performances up close. The elephant performance was especially impressive, showcasing the elephants’ nimble skills and earning them applause from the audience. My girlfriend was deeply drawn to the elephants and expressed a strong desire to interact closely with these adorable animals.

Exploring the Shopping Center

In the afternoon, we visited the local shopping center, Beachwalk Shopping Center, in Kuta. This place offers a variety of international brands and local specialty shops, providing tourists with a plethora of shopping choices. We picked out some interesting souvenirs for our family and friends, such as traditional Indonesian handicrafts, spices, and local snacks. My girlfriend particularly enjoyed a handmade soap store and chose a few fragrant handmade soaps as gifts to bring back home.

Trying Local Indonesian Cuisine

For dinner, we visited a local Indonesian restaurant, Warung Nia. This restaurant’s specialty is Babi Guling (Indonesian roasted pork), priced at around $12. The pork is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, complemented by Indonesian-style chili sauce, making for a unique and flavorful experience. We also tried other Indonesian dishes, such as Ayam Betutu (Indonesian spiced grilled chicken) and Nasi Campur (mixed rice), treating our taste buds to a delightful feast.

Nightlife in Kuta

At night, we experienced the vibrant nightlife in Kuta with its music and cocktails. We went to the famous Sky Garden Rooftop Lounge, where there were live band performances and various cocktails for tourists to try. We spent a fun night drinking, dancing, and enjoying the Bali nightlife with the locals.
