Preparing for Departure

After breakfast, we took a domestic flight back to Jakarta, with the airfare costing about $100. Upon arrival, we visited a local shopping center to do some last-minute shopping before heading home.

Saying Goodbye to Jakarta

On our last afternoon in Jakarta, we went to a famous restaurant called Sate Khas Senayan. Their signature dish is Sate Ayam (chicken satay), which costs around $8. As we enjoyed our meal, we reflected on the ups and downs of our journey through Indonesia, feeling both nostalgic and grateful for our experiences.

In the evening, we took our return flight home, bringing our unforgettable Indonesian adventure to a close. Though our trip was over, our hearts remained in this beautiful archipelago. We look forward to returning in the future to discover more of its hidden gems and unique experiences.

Looking back on our 10-day journey through Indonesia, we saw breathtaking scenery, tasted delicious food, and made new friends. My girlfriend, in particular, demonstrated her love for new experiences and passion for life throughout the trip. Her laughter and joyful expressions have become our most precious memories.

Our trip was full of surprises and joy, whether we were leisurely exploring the terraced rice paddies, interacting with monkeys, or having fun at the water park. Of course, there were some mishaps along the way, such as accidentally falling into a water hole in the rice paddies or having our camera stolen by a monkey, but these misadventures also became part of our cherished memories.

In the days to come, we will continue to explore different corners of the world, experiencing different cultures and customs. The beauty and cuisine of Indonesia have left a deep impression on us, and we hope to return someday to continue our adventure. Our next destination will be New Zealand, which my girlfriend has been eagerly looking forward to, where we will explore the natural scenery and unique culture.
