Geothermal Wonders

After breakfast, we visited Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, where there are many unique geothermal landscapes, such as fountains, hot springs, and smoky volcanic craters. We were amazed by the wonders of nature. The admission ticket to the thermal wonderland was $32.50 NZD per person.

Interaction with Locals

In the afternoon, we strolled around Rotorua city and met a local Maori woman who was selling handicrafts at the market. She introduced us to traditional Maori handicrafts and showed us how to weave traditional Maori bracelets. We were grateful for the opportunity to learn more about Maori culture during our trip.

Local Specialty Restaurant

For dinner, we went to Atticus Finch restaurant located in Rotorua city center. The restaurant offers authentic New Zealand cuisine, and we tried some delicious seafood and local specialties. This dinner cost us $70 NZD.
