Te Papa National Museum

After breakfast, we visited Te Papa National Museum to learn about the history and culture of New Zealand. My girlfriend was particularly interested in the Maori culture exhibition, and we joined a free guided tour led by a museum guide. Admission to the museum is free.

Weta Workshop Tour

In the afternoon, we visited Weta Workshop, the production house behind the movies “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit”. There, we witnessed the making of many movie props and learned the stories behind the movie production. The admission ticket for Weta Workshop was $28 NZD per person.

Seafood Feast

For dinner, we went to Ortega Fish Shack & Bar, located in Wellington city center, and had a delicious seafood feast. This restaurant is known for its fresh seafood and tasty dishes, and the dinner cost us a total of $180 NZD.
